Pine shavings is an all-natural choice used as bedding for chicken farms, equestrian estates, horse stables and poultry farms to keep the animals dry and comfortable. The absorbent wood flakes makes clean-up easy and helps to keep them healthier.
We supply and manufacture ultra-premium pine wood shavings in two flake sizes, small/medium and large.

- Our bags are closed with either cable ties or wires in order to eliminate the possibility of the shavings getting wet in harsh weather conditions. Our chicken farmers usually feed the used shavings mixed with the chicken manure at the end of the cycle to cattle or other farm animals, but it can also be used afterwards as compost for plants or crops
- We usually require a 1 week lead time in order to schedule our planning and deliver on time
- We can provide a routine accredited certificate for full superlink loads on our shavings for tests done e.g. Aspergillosis, Salmonella or any other disease by a SANAS (South African National Accreditation System) accredited Laboratory, the lead time for test results are usually a standard two weeks. SANAS certificates and their accompanying schedules are a formal recognition that an organisation is competent to perform specific tasks. SANAS is responsible for the accreditation of Medical Laboratories to ISO 15189:2007, Certification bodies to ISO/IEC 17021:2006, ISO/IEC 17024:2003 and 65:1996 (and the IAF interpretation thereof), and laboratories (testing and calibration) to ISO/IEC 17025:2005. Inspection Bodies are accredited to ISO/IEC 17020:1998 standards. GLP facilities are inspected for compliance to OECD GLP principles
